Fast start carries men’s lacrosse to home win over Ursinus: photos

By Brendan Bilo

YORK College’s No. 10-ranked men’s lacrosse team rolled in its home opener to a 21-10 victory over No. 19 Ursinus.

That took some of the sting out of the loss to Washington and Lee last weekend in the season’s first game.

The Spartans jumped out to a four-goal lead less than four minutes into the game and held a 15-goal advantage by halftime.

Will Harnick led the Spartans with four of his game-high five goals in the first half. Jack Grayson assisted on three of those goals.

The Spartans return to play March 4 as they meet two-time defending national champion RIT. Opening face-off in Rochester, New York, is set for noon.

Here are photos from Wednesday’s game.
