Messiah rallies late to beat YCP in men’s basketball: photos

MESSIAH went on a 12-2 run over the final 3:19 of the game to beat visiting York College 68-64 in a men’s basketball game played Wednesday night.
York is now 2-3 and 0-1 in MAC Commonwealth play. Messiah improved to 5-2 and 1-0 in the conference.
Chis Miery led the Spartans with a season-high 19 points and a season-high tying three steals, while Jackson Mascari had 14 points and five rebounds and Jayden Rowe contributed 12 points and three rebounds.
The Spartans will finish what has been a season-opening six-game road trip on Saturday as they head to Eastern University for a 3 p.m. conference game.
