Top women’s field hockey seed a little too much for YCP to overcome: photos

No 1-ranked Salisbury got a third quarter goal to beat York College 1-0 in the second round of the 2022 NCAA Women’s Field Hockey Tournament in Salisbury, Maryland on Saturday morning.

The Spartans finished the season at 16-6; that total is a school record for wins.

Salisbury moves on to the national quarterfinals on Sunday with a mark of 18-0, making it the last remaining undefeated team in Division III field hockey and the tournament’s overall top seed.
