York College of Pennsylvania athletics is in the process of transitioning from winter to spring sports.

While basketball, swimming and wrestling are wrapping up, the spring sports such as lacrosse, baseball and track & field are beginning their seasons.

We’re looking for individuals who want to provide game coverage, some features and maybe some issue pieces to what we’re producing in our Spartan class, MC271 and CM371.

If you’d like to get a story or two published this semester, and you like sports, this is a great opportunity to do so.

Interested? Email me at pvigna@ycp.com and we can talk about some story ideas and possibilities. I’d like to see coverage of the athletics program ramped up, and adding a couple of “freelancers” to the sports team already assembled in the class can help do that.
